A nice clear day - but cold!  It's interestesting watching sunset move southerly along the mountain range.

Later in the day, you can see how far the termination dust has moved down the mountains.

Finally got home in the daylight again!  Although the moon is up in this picture, it is around sunset so there's still some light out.

It was dark out again by the time we got home (grocery night), but at least its finally clear!

Another cloudy day, I'm afraid.  This morning it was snowing huge clumps of snow, but sadly, it didn't stick.  Pretty soon, though!

Just after dusk the clouds lifted to reveal...

snow covered mountains and the lights on Hillside!

It was dark and overcast when we left, and dark and overcast when we came back.  Hopefully better tomorrow!

It was dark when we left, and dark when we got back.  However, you can see the lights of the houses on Hillside.  This is the nice part of town where the big houses are.  And when you are up there you can see why - they have an awesome view of the sound.

Finally a clear morning so we can enjoy the pre-dawn view.  Pretty good!

Day 43

The only mountain in our field of view that has any termination dust left - it's very, very far away!  The whitish squares above it are reflections on the window - not mysterious apparitions, sadly :)

Foggy this morning, clear-ish this afternoon.  The mountain peaks are still mostly clear - this is unusually late in the season.  However, we have snow forecast for this coming week, so we'll see!

It is so beautiful out, we have all our windows open!  Here is the view right before sunrise...

Very nearly all of the termination dust is gone now.  It's in the 60's right now!

The weather today is rainy and extremely windy - and strangely warm. It was in the low 60s around lunch time. 

We also seem to have lost some of our termination dust...

but I have a feeling it will be back pretty soon.  With friends!

It was dark when I left this morning and it was dark when I got home - it will be like this all the time in a few months. (We got home late - grocery night!)

The rest of the day was cloudy and rainy.  Everyone kept expecting snow, but nothing yet!  (except on the mountains, but that's a slightly different story)
