A dark, just-before-sunrise view. This was the most we saw of the mountains all day.
The rest of the day was cloudy and rainy. Everyone kept expecting snow, but nothing yet! (except on the mountains, but that's a slightly different story)

Every day for one year, I will be taking the same picture, posting it here, and writing a few words. The picture is the view from my living room window, which looks out at the mountains to the east of the city. It is a beautiful view, and very changeable. The pictures will not be taken at a specific time of day, just at some point during the day. Purpose: I have no idea. It just seemed like an interesting thing to do.
